Hydrant Flushing Location Update

Saturday, October 24th - Cedar Lane & Tall Timber Lane. The Florence Twp Water and Sewer Dept. will be conducting hydrant flushing in the following areas:
Cedar Lane
Tall Timber Lane
(Due to school being in session, these hydrants must be flushed over the weekend to minimize disruption to school operations)

Please note that even though hydrant flushing is being conducted in a specific area, customers in surrounding areas may also notice temporary changes in their water's appearance. The 2026 Florence Township Fall Fest OPENS AT 10AM!!!

Stop out to visit nearly 100 vendors booths comprised of crafters, artisans, cottage food vendors and a variety of local businesses and organizations!

Several food vendors will be on site and enjoy several activities & crafts, including a pumpkin patch for the kids!!!

FALL FEST IS TOMORROW!!! We encourage residents and visitors to participate in this year's exciting event. With over 90 vendors, it is wonderful to support these talented artisans, crafters, cottage bakers and organizations that will span much of our complex selling items to help you to check off your early holiday shopping needs!

Several food vendors, along with the recreation softball concession will be available as well.
It’s a perfect opportunity to relax and spend quality time with your family, friends and neighbors on a cool Fall Day.

This event is FREE for the public to attend. Prices at vendor booths may vary.

Grand Opening/Ribbon Cutting Event - The Groom Room

Today we were invited to join The Groom Room in celebration of their Grand Opening at The Shoppes at Mallard Creek.

Serving both dogs & cats, the owners provided an informational tour of their establishment, shared their equipment's ability to safely support pets of all sizes and ages, and welcomed friends, neighbors and our officials to take part in the ribbon cutting.

Mayor Kristan Marter, Councilwoman Gina Sullivan, Superintendent of Public Works David Wright, and Economic Development Liaison Martin Eckert wished our community's newest business great success.

Even two of the Groom Room's first customers landed in today's photo opp! Both gave their sessions 2 Paws Up!
