Our staff enjoyed joining the Greater Florence Chamber for its Annual Membership Luncheon at the Florence Center on Wednesday.

A highlight of the afternoon was seeing FCEDP board member Art E. Justice, Turner Padget Law Firm, named the Chamber’s 2026 Business Person of the Year. Congratulations, Art! We’re grateful for the leadership and perspective you bring to our board and to the Florence business community.

We were pleased to have Kendall Follin of the Greater Lake City Chamber of Commerce, Town of Timmonsville Town Administrator Thomas McFadden, and Timmonsville Mayor William James, Jr. join us as our guests for the luncheon.

Guest speaker Duane Parrish, Director of the South Carolina Department of Parks, Recreation & Tourism, highlighted tourism’s impact on our local economy.

Thank you to the Chamber for bringing our business community together and recognizing the people who help Florence County thrive.
