Did you know…

In week 9 (11 weeks LMP) of pregnancy:
-Baby has 5 individual fingers on each hand
-All adult organs are present in early form
-Baby has ended the embryonic development period and is now in the fetal development period
-Breathing motions to practice for birth have already begun!
-He or she is starting to suck his/her thumb:)
-Brain development is continuing at a crazy rate-15 million new neurons each hour or 2.5 BILLION a week!!!

3 things to keep in mind during your unplanned pregnancy…

1. There is no such thing as “perfect timing.”
Life often drops things into our laps that we simply cannot predict and it can feel as though it’s always at the most inconvenient times. You may be in high school, college, or already a mom…

Sometimes life takes a different direction then we had planned for. But it’s often the unexpected and challenging paths that help us to discover new strength, purpose, and perseverance.

Unplanned pregnancies can often make you question what your loved ones might think, who will support you in parenting, or who will check in on you emotionally, physically, and mentally.
