NKADD is seeking public comment on the 2026 updates to the Northern Kentucky Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy (CEDS) and action plan. You can view the 2026 draft on the NKADD website by using this link (https://www.nkadd.org/ceds/).

The comment period will end Monday, November 9, 2026.

Congratulations and welcome to the 8-representives who will serve as NKADD's new Executive Committee!

The Committee is made up from representatives of the following: the City of Carrollton, Kentucky (Carroll), Gallatin County Fiscal Court-Kentucky, the City of Williamstown, Kentucky (Grant), Kenton County - Government Fiscal Court, Boone County Kentucky - Government Fiscal Court, Campbell County Fiscal Court, Owen County Kentucky Fiscal Court, and Pendleton County Fiscal Court.

We look forward to the ideas and energy this team will bring. Thank you to our Executive Committee members for stepping up to lead. We’re grateful for your commitment and look forward to a great year ahead!

The first NKADD board meeting led by Chairman Adams will be on October 22, 2026, at 12:00 PM at NKADD (22 Spiral Drive, Florence, KY 41042).

Yesterday, NKADD brought together partners from across Northern Kentucky to reconnect, share updates, discuss the housing challenges facing our region, and identify opportunities for continued collaboration at the Northern Kentucky Housing Convening.

Several local and national experts shared their experiences and provided critical updates to consider moving forward collaboratively as a region.

Addressing housing challenges requires continued communication, reliable data, shared resources, and strong partnerships. Thank you to our speakers and everyone who participated in the Northern Kentucky Housing Convening and contributed their knowledge and perspectives to the conversation!

NKADD received a $500,000 EPA Brownfields Community-Wide Assessment Grant and is seeking qualified environmental services.

NKADD is proud to recognize Lee Ann Kramer and the NorthKey Community Care IDD Crisis Team as this year’s NKADD Partner Organization of the Year!

The NorthKey IDD Crisis Team is an invaluable partner to our case managers and the individuals and families we serve. When a crisis arises, their team provides timely, compassionate and expert support, helping individuals remain safely in their homes and communities whenever possible.

Their dedication, professionalism and collaborative approach make a meaningful difference for countless individuals throughout Northern Kentucky. We are incredibly grateful for their partnership and commitment to the people we serve.

NKADD is proud to recognize Bill Mitchell as this year’s NKADD Volunteer of the Year!

Bill began his career with NKADD in 1985 and spent more than three decades serving communities across our region. After retiring, Bill continued his commitment to NKADD by serving as a citizen representative on our Board and as a mentor to our Community Development Planning and Local Government Services teams.

Bill’s passion for regional planning, extensive knowledge and dedication to helping others have made a lasting impact on generations of NKADD staff. His willingness to share his experience and mentor others inspires our team to continue making our communities better places to live.

Bill, thank you for everything you have given to NKADD — first as a colleague and now as a volunteer and mentor. We are incredibly grateful for you. Congratulations!

The NKADD is proud to name Liberty Kordish, Program Budget Manager, as one of this year’s NKADD Employees of the Year!

Liberty joined our Finance Department in 2011 before transitioning to Workforce, where she became an integral part of the team leading invoicing, grant compliance and budget matters. Since beginning her Master of Public Administration at NKU, Liberty has continued to expand her impact across the agency, serving as Interim Finance Director and, most recently, as Program Grants Manager.

Her curiosity, dedication and commitment to serving others have made her a valued resource across NKADD. Liberty brings her financial expertise, knowledge and collaborative spirit to every challenge, helping strengthen our work throughout the region.

Thank you, Liberty, for everything you do for NKADD and for the people we serve. Congratulations!
