📝📌 A NOTE-WORTHY PRINCIPAL!📌📝

Our Texans and staff wanted to make sure Mrs. Vaughn knew just how much she is appreciated! ❤️ They left her notes filled with kind words, gratitude, and appreciation… and then they *POSTED* them all over her office! 😂💌

We hope every note brought a smile to her face and reminded her just how much she means to our Prairie Trail family. Mrs. Vaughn, thank you for all you do for our students, staff, and school community! You are definitely note-worthy! 🤠❤️

Happy Principal appreciation month, again, because we just can’t stop *POSTING* about our awesome Mrs. Vaughn!

Prairie Trail is for our families! ❤️🖤🤍

Our 5th graders became electrical engineers as they explored how to build circuits! 🔋🔌 Students worked hands-on to connect wires, batteries, and light bulbs to create complete circuits and discover how electricity flows. They practiced problem-solving, critical thinking, and teamwork while bringing their learning to life! 💡👏

Once a Texan, Always a Texan!

Our Kinder Texans LOVE their Marcus Athlete! The Adopt an Athlete program is such a special way to build connections, create lasting memories, and bring our PTE community together.

We feel so privileged to have Marcus students who are willing to give their time, serve as mentors, and build meaningful relationships with our Texans. Even more special, many of these athletes are former PTE Texans themselves, returning to give back to the school that helped shape them.

It's about so much more than sports—it's about showing up, building friendships, leading by example, and reminding our kiddos that they are part of something bigger than themselves.

Here's to an amazing year of learning, growing, cheering each other on, and continuing the incredible PTE Texan tradition! Once a Texan, always a Texan! ❤️🖤🤍

Mrs. Pfeifer’s, Mrs. Pewitt’s, and Mrs. Quezada’s second graders swapped their classroom desks for the pool this week to learn essential swim basics and water safety.
Learning how to navigate the water isn’t just about having fun—it’s a critical life skill that builds lifelong confidence. From practicing proper breathing to mastering floating and basic strokes, our students worked hard to become water-smart.
Stay tuned for next week's swimmers in Mrs. King’s, Mrs. Ortega’s, and Mrs. Phillips’ classes.

🔬🚀 **Science in Action!**

Our 3rd grade Texans were busy investigating the force of **pushing and pulling!** 💡 Through hands-on experiments with different objects, students explored how force can make objects move, change direction, and stop.

We love seeing our young scientists learning through exploration, experimentation, and discovery! 🤠❤️🖤
