Lake Cities Seniors

LCS is described as a non-profit for the “activity and activism” of senior citizens. Throughout its existence, LCS has remained the only nonprofit in Lake Cities (Lake Dallas, Hickory Creek, Shady Shores, and Corinth) exclusively focusing on the needs of the local senior citizen community.

A simple look at our page shows the activity of the organization, but few get to see the activism. The goal of LCS has always been to better the quality of life for the generations that came before us and in 2026 we expanded those efforts to the larger cities that surround us. Whether it’s bringing a senior citizen related issue to the attention of a city’s administration or being a voice for senior citizens when they feel they aren’t being heard, LCS has remained a steady presence.

LCS was a full house that was full of laughs at our last meet-up. Come be part of our next meet-up at the First Baptist Church of Lake Dallas on Tuesday, October 13, 2026 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. for games, socializing and lunch.

If you (or someone you know) is 55+, join the fun! Coffee and water are provided but please bring a potluck item to share. We love the fellowship that happens when sharing a meal together. Don’t know how to play chicken foot? Right-Left-Center? No problem! Come to learn or just to make a new friend! ❤️
