We know it’s been a few weeks but we want to shine some well deserved light on some of our favorites from our first annual Fall Family Picnic!

Firstly we want to congratulate the winner of the Junie B. Jones tote bag, which was so kindly donated by the President & CEO of Align Southern Indiana, Rita Shourds!

We also want to thank Becky King for representing Dolly Parton's Imagination Library and Mia the Therapy Dog for helping to bring our event together.

We thank you all so much and appreciate everything you do for the library and for our community!

Mia is a sweet lab who loves anyone and everyone to read to her. Get your chance to meet Mia this month during Tails & Tales, bring your favorite book or pick one from our children’s collection.

Finish off fall break with Legos!

Calling all Legos lovers, join us tomorrow afternoon for a fun day of building! Kids of all ages can play and build using the library’s Legos or you can bring your own lego sets from home.

This program is open to youth of all ages. Registration is encouraged.

🍁 We have been hard at work prepping for our first annual Fall Family Picnic here at the Galena Digital Library!

☀️ What a great morning for an outdoor storytime! ☀️

We had such a fun time moving and grooving in the sunshine this morning. Join us Thursday mornings at 10:30am for our weekly Move & Groove Storytime.

We use things like a drum, hand bells, rhythm sticks, egg shakers, and scarves in this lively and interactive storytime. Moove & Groove will help build early literacy skills, social interaction, and blossoming young music lovers!

For Ages 0-5 years old. No Registration Required.
