🎉 THAT’S A WRAP ON THE 2026 OKEFENOKEE FESTIVAL! 🎉

What an incredible day in the Swamp! ❤️ We are so thankful for everyone who helped make this year’s festival such a success!

One of the happiest sights of the day was seeing Main Street filled with so many smiling faces! Seeing our community come together and our streets so full was truly something special. And what a beautiful parade! 🇺🇸 The incredible floats and patriotic spirit made this year's parade one to remember as we celebrated America's 250th year!

We want to extend a heartfelt THANK YOU to everyone who made today possible:

👏 Our dedicated Chamber Board for all their hard work and planning.

💚 Our amazing volunteers who gave their time and energy to help everything run smoothly.

🚧 The City of Folkston workers for their preparation and hard work.

🚔 The Folkston Police Department and Charlton County Sheriff's Office for helping keep everyone safe.

🛍️ And, of course, OUR WONDERFUL VENDORS! Thank you for coming out, setting up, and bringing so much variety, food, and fun to the festival.

To everyone who attended, supported local businesses, participated in the parade, and spent the day with us — THANK YOU! You are what makes this festival so special. ❤️

We are already looking forward to another great year!

After extensive conversations with city officals including EMA this morning, it is with a saddened heart we have to postpone the Okefenokee Festival due to the overnight shift in anticipated weather conditions and serious potential for heavy rains and extreme winds.

We understand the disappointment and inconvenience this may cause, but our community members and vendors safety is our number one priority, so we must err on the side of caution.

We hope all of our vendors and community members will be able to join us Saturday, October 24, 2026. If there are any questions or concerns, please email us [email protected]. If you are a vendor and unable to attend the rescheduled event, please reach out via email prior to Wednesday, October 14, 2026.
