KICKOFF COUNTDOWN – YOUTH INDOOR SOCCER REGISTRATION CLOSES NOV. 1ST

Grab your teammates and register today for the fastest and most exciting soccer season!

The Andy Morin Sports Complex is now accepting team registrations for our Youth Indoor Soccer Leagues - boys’ and girls’ divisions for ages U8, U10, U12, U14 & U17.
Divisions include recreational fun, academy/competitive play, or open level.

Each team is guaranteed:
At least 6 fast-paced games
Possible playoffs to determine division champions.
Non-stop indoor soccer action begins the week of November 17th

Priority registration for resident teams (60% of players living in Folsom) closes Friday, October 18
Non-Folsom team registration opens October 19
Registration for all Teams ends Saturday, October 30

FALL SENIOR RESOURCE FAIR

The Fall Senior Resource Fair returns on Friday, October 16, from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Folsom Senior Center, 48 Natoma Street. This free event provides a welcoming space for seniors of all ages and abilities to explore valuable resources, health and wellness information, and engaging community programs.

Attendees can meet local vendors, participate in activities, and connect with organizations dedicated to enhancing senior well-being. The event is open to seniors, caregivers, and family members interested in learning more about available support and services.

Come join us!

Join us tomorrow (Thursday) evening as we celebrate the unveiling of new signage and digital kiosks designed to make the Folsom City Zoo Sanctuary easier to find and navigate!

Members of Leadership Folsom Class of 2025–26 partnered with the Friends of the Folsom Zoo to raise funds toward improving the zoo sanctuary’s entrance and creating a more welcoming experience for visitors. The unveiling is Thursday, October 15. The program begins at 4 p.m., and guests can stay and visit the zoo after the unveiling until 6 p.m. There will be educational tables and animal meet-and-greets along the way.

We’re so grateful for this wonderful community partnership and look forward to celebrating this exciting improvement with you. We hope to see you there!

New Trails to Explore! Join Us for the Mangini Ranch Trails Grand Opening!

Join us Wednesday, October 28, at 10 a.m. at Prospector Park as we celebrate the grand opening of the new Mangini Ranch Trails!

This exciting addition features approximately three miles of new Class I multi-use trails winding through the Mangini Ranch development in the Folsom Plan Area.
Whether you enjoy walking, running, biking, or simply spending time outdoors, these new trails offer more opportunities to stay active, connect with nature, and explore our beautiful community.

It's pumpkin patch season, and we are LOVING this fall weather!

All four of our Fun Factory Preschool classes headed out for some fall fun at the pumpkin patch last week! From hayrides and exploring the farms to picking out the perfect pumpkins, our little preschoolers had a wonderful time making memories with their classmates and families!

Missed the opening reception? No worries! There’s still plenty of time to experience “Noble”, a captivating exhibition by photographer Miguel Gutierrez Jr., on display at Gallery at 48 Natoma through November 12.

Featuring individuals who help shape Sacramento’s cultural landscape, the exhibition explores presence, identity, and materiality through the distinctive platinum/palladium printing process.

Inspired by the iconic portrait traditions of Irving Penn and Richard Avedon, Gutierrez’s work offers an intimate and timeless look at the people who influence the region’s creative and cultural community.

Don’t miss the opportunity to experience this remarkable collection in person! The exhibition is free and open to the public at The Gallery at 48 Natoma, located at 48 Natoma Street in Folsom.

Gallery hours are Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Friday from 9 a.m. to noon, with extended hours on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 6 to 8 p.m.

The pumpkin patch opens tomorrow!

2BGlass is putting the final touches on the 8th Annual Handblown Glass Pumpkin Patch, opening tomorrow at the Gallery at 48 Natoma. Experience these incredible works of art by 2BGlass and other artists this weekend, October 10-11, from 10 A.M.–5 P.M. Come experience the beauty of these incredible pieces of art and start or add to your collection!

Proceeds from this event benefit Folsom Parks & Recreation’s community arts education programs at the Folsom Art Center.

Got a little soccer star in the making? Give them a kick-start with P*e Wee Soccer from Folsom Parks & Recreation!

Designed for ages 3–6, this fun, beginner-friendly program introduces young athletes to the basics of soccer while building confidence, coordination, teamwork, and social skills. Through exciting games and activities, little players will learn new skills, make friends, and discover the joy of being active!

Ages: 3–6 years
Location: Econome Park
Fee: $94 ($84 for Folsom residents)
Mondays | November 30–December 21
4–4:45 p.m. or 5–5:45 p.m.

No experience needed, just bring your energy and get ready to have a ball!
