Impact Living Services (ILS) is a non-profit agency dedicated to changing outcomes for at risk youth and families throughout Virginia. ILS is a licensed child placing agency providing treatment foster care services and transitional living services focused on assisting youth in foster care by promoting interdependence so that each youth may reach their individual potential socially, academically, vocationally and relationally. In addition to providing an independent living and foster care services, ILS provides outpatient counseling, therapeutic mentoring, and other community-based services to all eligible clients in the Central Virginia area.

Could EMDR be a good fit for you? 🧠💙

EMDR may help people process trauma, distressing memories, anxiety, grief, and other difficult experiences that continue to affect daily life.

During a session, you’ll talk with your therapist about your experiences and goals. If EMDR is appropriate for you, your therapist will guide you through the process using techniques such as guided eye movements, tapping, or sounds to support memory processing.

You don’t have to figure it out alone. A trained therapist can help you explore your options and decide what type of counseling may be right for you.
