🚒🧗‍♂️ FOUR DAYS OF TRAINING, TEAMWORK, AND DEDICATION! 🚒

Firefighters and emergency responders from Fluvanna County and surrounding counties came together for four days of intensive High and Low Angle Rope Rescue Training!

This training takes dedication, determination, teamwork, and trust. These men and women gave their time to strengthen their skills, challenge themselves, and prepare for situations where lives may depend on their knowledge and abilities.

When an emergency happens, county lines don't matter. What matters is having the training, skills, and teamwork to get the job done safely.

A huge thank-you to everyone who participated, the instructors who shared their knowledge, and the departments that continue to invest in training.

Different departments. Different counties. One mission — saving lives! 🚒❤️

A HUGE THANK YOU FROM ALL OF US!

We want to take a moment to say a HUGE THANK YOU to everyone who helped make our Fire Prevention Day such a success!

An event like this doesn’t happen without an amazing community coming together, and we are incredibly grateful to each and every person who played a part.

To our amazing vendors: Thank you for coming out, sharing your businesses, and helping make the day so much fun for our community!

To all of our generous donors: Your support helped make this event possible, and we truly appreciate you believing in what we were trying to accomplish.

A special thank you to Aaron Spitzer with Fluvanna County Parks & Recreation for all of your help and support. We couldn't have done it without you!

To all of the Fluvanna County firefighters and departments who showed up, volunteered their time, helped with demonstrations, talked with families, worked behind the scenes, and jumped in wherever needed — THANK YOU! Your dedication to keeping our community safe does not go unnoticed.

And to everyone else who helped in any way, whether you donated, volunteered, set up, cleaned up, shared our event, brought your family, or simply helped spread the word — THANK YOU! There are so many people who worked behind the scenes, and we appreciate every single one of you.

Most importantly, thank you to everyone who came out and supported Fire Prevention Day! We hope you had a great time while learning some important fire safety tips along the way.

This event truly showed what happens when our community comes together. We are so proud of how the day turned out and we are already looking forward to next year's event!

From all of us at the fire department — THANK YOU, FLUVANNA!
