🎗️ GO GOLD FOR CHILDHOOD CANCER AWARENESS 🎗️

Today, September 30th, we wear gold for the kiddos who have been asked to be brave long before they should ever have to know what bravery means, we stand along side the fighters still fighting, the survivors who give us hope, and the beautiful lives taken far too soon. 🎗️

In EMS, we’re taught to be strong for others on their hardest days, but some of our smallest patients show us a kind of courage that stays with us forever.

From all of us at Medical Jets EMS, our hearts are with every kiddo, every family, and everyone standing beside them in the fight against childhood cancer, today and every day. 💛

🚑 EMPLOYEE OF THE MONTH — VALERIE ARRIAGA 🚑

Please join us in congratulating Valerie Arriaga, our August Employee of the Month! 🎉

Valerie is known for being knowledgeable, dependable, and always willing to step in wherever she is needed. Whether she’s helping another truck restock, handling station duties without being asked, or picking up an open shift, she consistently goes above and beyond.

Her partner said it best:

“Valerie is an excellent, knowledgeable, and well-experienced EMT. She exemplifies the Medical Jets values with her patients and the general public. If I called for EMS, she is the type of crew member I would want responding to take care of me or my family.”

There may not be a better compliment in EMS than knowing your partner would trust you with the people they love most.

Congratulations, Valerie! We’re proud to have you as part of the Medical Jets team. ❤️🚑

Today, we stood alongside Balch Springs Fire Dept and PD to honor those whose lives were forever changed on September 11, 2001.

We remember the 2,977 lives lost, the first responders who answered the call, and the families and communities who continue to carry their legacy.

Different uniforms, One mission: serve when people need us most.

Never forgotten. Always remembered. 🇺🇸

💜 September is Su***de Prevention Month 💜

For EMS, this one hits close to home.

First responders carry more than most people will ever see. They walk into chaos, trauma, grief, fear, and some of the worst moments of someone else’s life and they stay. They help people through it. Then they go home and face their own battles, their own stress, their own heartbreak, and sometimes their own darkest moments.

And still, they come back.

We cannot only talk about mental health after we lose someone. We have to check on our people while they are still here. We have to pay attention to the quiet ones, the strong ones, the ones who make everyone laugh, and the ones who always say they’re fine.

To every member of our Medical Jets family: you spend your days helping other people survive their worst moments. Please know that you deserve that same support when you are facing yours.

You are not just a call sign, a unit number, or the voice behind the mic saying “responding” after being dispatched to a scene that you already know may stay with you forever.

You can have your entire world falling apart at home, carry things personally that no one around you knows about, and still show up, put on the uniform, answer the call, and minutes later be the voice on the radio saying, “We got ROSC. Transporting.”

That is the part people don’t always see.

They see the uniform. They see the ambulance. They see you show up and do the job. They don’t always see what you carry when the shift ends, what follows you home, or what you may be fighting silently while still being the person everyone else depends on.

Please remember how important you are. Not just to this company. Not just to your partner or your crew. Not just because someone needs you to answer the next call.

You matter because you are you.

You are needed. You are valued. And we need you here.

If you or someone you know is struggling, call or text 988. 💜

🎉 PROMOTION ANNOUNCEMENT! 🎉

After four years of teaching and shaping young minds, Madison Luttrell traded the classroom for a headset and stepped into the world of EMS communications. Now, just nine months into her dispatching career, we are so excited to celebrate her promotion to Dispatch Supervisor! 🚑🎧

Saying she jumped in headfirst to learn the ins and outs of EMS communications would be an understatement. Clearly, keeping a classroom full of kiddos organized was pretty solid preparation for keeping EMS crews in line. 🫡

When she’s not behind the headset, Madison is usually spending time with her family, camping, crafting, or working on one of her many creative projects. And of course, there’s her husband, Lance, who is also a huge part of our 911 crew! So between the two of them, EMS is definitely a family affair.

We couldn’t be more proud of everything Madison has accomplished in such a short time. She has brought heart, humor, and dedication to our team from day one, and we’re so excited to watch her step into this next chapter.

Congratulations, Madison….. you’ve absolutely earned it! 🎉🚑

🚨 PROMOTION ANNOUNCEMENT 🚨

Please join us in congratulating Anthony Nguyen on his promotion to D-Shift Lieutenant!

Anthony joined Medical Jets in 2023 as an EMT and has continued to grow every step of the way, advancing to Paramedic and now Lieutenant. His dedication to continuing education, mental health advocacy, and always being willing to help others has made him a valued part of our team.

When he isn’t at work, he’s usually keeping up with his three kids and their very relaxing schedule of hockey, competitive go-karting, baseball, and soccer… so honestly, managing D-Shift may be the easy part. 😂

We are incredibly proud of Anthony and feel truly blessed to be a part of his journey, getting to watch our people grow into the leaders they are capable of becoming is one of the best parts of what we do.

Congratulations, Lieutenant Nguyen! We are proud of you, grateful for you, and excited to see where this next chapter takes you. ❤️🚑

🚑 Deployment Update 2 | Willow Fire – Colorado 🇺🇸🔥

We’re proud to be sending our 2nd round of Crew Members to Colorado to relieve our first crew after an incredible 21-day deployment on the Willow Fire.

The fire has now grown to approximately 7,196 acres and is 51% contained.

To our returning crew: There are simply no words to express how thankful we are for each of you. Thank you for your sacrifice, your dedication, and for representing Medical Jets EMS with pride, professionalism, and heart. You upheld our name in every way possible, and we couldn’t be more grateful or more proud to call you part of our family.

To our incoming crew: Thank you for stepping up and answering the call. Travel safe, watch each other’s backs, and know we’re cheering you on every step of the way. ❤️🚑🇺🇸

Stay safe, Colorado. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of the firefighters, first responders, support crews, and the communities affected by the Willow Fire.
