Miss Carol is trying something new with the microgreens. Her most recent batch includes cantaloupe, cabbage, and speckled peas! They should be ready to harvest by Monday afternoon so be sure to stop in early next week if you want to try them!

Please plan to attend our book signing/discussion with author Beth Henderson this evening, October 7th at 7:00 pm. Even if you haven't read "They Called Him Longman" yet, come and enjoy the lively discussion and light refreshments. Copies of the book will also be available for purchase. We hope to see you there!

A little more information on our upcoming book discussion: Georgia Lovett is the pen name of Beth Henderson, former owner of the White Pines Dinner Theatre and Lake LaDonna campground. After leaving the area, Beth moved to Costa Rica to be near her children. Please call the library to reserve your own copy of this book and to save your place at our event on October 7th. Then, while you're reading, be sure to look for some hidden local references!

Join local author Georgia Lovett for a book signing and discussion on her recently released novel, They Called Him Longman. This is a deeply human novel about what happens when the stories we bury ask to be told.

Time: 7:00 PM
What to expect: Lively discussion about the twists and turns within the story. A signed copy of the novel for your personal library. Light refreshments will be served.

Registration is required. Books are available at no charge for the first 6 registrants. Additional copies will be available for purchase the evening of the event.
