The City of Forsyth Fire Department was happy to welcome a group from Forsyth Homeschool Enrichment to Station 101 today! 🚒

Our firefighters enjoyed giving the group an up-close look at the rescue truck and two fire engines. The group also toured the station and learned about the important work our firefighters do and the equipment they use each day.

Thank you to Forsyth Homeschool Enrichment for spending part of your day with us!

🇺🇸We will never forget🇺🇸

“One of the worst days in America’s history saw some of the bravest acts in Americans’ history. We’ll always honor the heroes of 9/11. And here at this hallowed place, we pledge that we will never forget their sacrifice.”

President George W. Bush

Today, we pray and grieve alongside the Taylor family as we mourn the loss of Bobby Taylor.

Bobby was the epitome of a true public servant. Throughout his years of service with MCES, he responded into the City of Forsyth many times to assist our department during incidents. No matter the situation, Bobby was always a helping hand and a welcome face during some of the toughest moments. He was dependable. He was selfless. And when help was needed, Bobby was someone you could count on to show up.

Our department and our community mourn the loss of a great public servant and friend. We are forever grateful for Bobby’s service, his willingness to help others, and the impact he made on those fortunate enough to serve alongside him.
