Hi, my name is Dawn Bilyeu, and I am a proud republican running to serve as your next Taney County Auditor.
My husband, Jim Bilyeu, and I have been married for 44 years and have made our home in Forsyth. We are blessed with three children, two wonderful grandsons, and a family that has taught us the value of faith, hard work, and serving.
I have proudly served the citizens of Taney County for more than 30 years. I began my county career in 1995 in the County Clerk’s office and later transferred to the Auditor’s office when Taney County became a first-class county. Since then, I have gained extensive experience in governmental accounting, auditing, general ledger management, inventory, payroll administration, accounts payable, budgeting, purchasing, financial reporting and maintaining the county’s accounting system.
Throughout my career, I’ve worked closely with every county department to ensure taxpayers dollars are managed responsibly, county funds are accurately balanced, and financial records are transparent and accountable. These are not just job responsibilities-they are commitments I have honored every day for over three decades.
I am also honored to have earned the endorsement of the Tri-Lakes Board of Realtors, and I appreciate their confidence in my experience and ability to serve the citizens of Taney County.
I believe the County Auditor should be experienced, trustworthy, and ready to lead from day one. I have the knowledge, the integrity, and proven record to do exactly that.
On August 4th, I respectfully ask for your vote for Taney County Auditor. It would be an honor to continue serving the citizens of Taney County.
Thank you, God bless you and God bless Taney County.
