Now known as Black Hawk Senior Residence, the Black Hawk has evolved into a showcase of supportive services for the elderly, as a state licensed community-based residential facility (CBRF), also known as "assisted living." Few assisted living facilities can match the Black Hawk's charismatic blend of historic tradition and range of services. More importantly, few homes can match the Black Hawk in the level of compassion and personal attention provided to residents and their families. Traditional grace and charm make the Black Hawk a truly unique home for those who need support with the challenges of daily living, but do not need the medical care of a nursing home.
