✨ SPIRIT WEEK IS HERE! 📚🍂

We’re excited to share Fort Belvoir Upper’s Spirit Week themes for October 26–30! Check out the flyer below for all the fun happening this week!

📚 Friday, October 30, is Book Character Day at BOTH Belvoir Primary and Upper! Students are invited to dress as their favorite book characters!

⏰ Don’t forget! Friday is also a 2-hour early release day!

🐬 These are school-planned activities, so please direct any questions to your child’s school.

And speaking of Friday… something tells us there’s a scent-sational surprise in the air from your PTA. 👀👃🤫

Let’s show off that Dolphin spirit! 🧡💛

Creating, Exploring, Achieving Together
Curiosity in action! As students created artful expressions, explored the moon’s phases, and molded clay gardens through a hands-on project, they showed the effort, creativity, and high expectations that make learning shine. We’re proud to celebrate students who ask questions, take on challenges, and keep reaching for excellence!

Veterans Day is an opportunity to recognize and thank the veterans and active-duty servicemembers who are part of our Fort Belvoir school community. Families are invited to share a photo and information about a veteran or servicemember connected to their family. Submissions will be featured in a slideshow on school screens during Veterans Day week.

Please email your submission to [email protected] and include:

Whether your family is Primary, Upper, or both
The servicemember’s first and last name and rank
One photo
Branch of service: Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, Coast Guard, or Space Force
Status: Active duty, veteran, or retired
Years of service
Connection to Fort Belvoir students, including each student’s name and grade
For example: Captain Jones is the grandmother of Isabella Smith (1st grade) and Javier Smith (2nd grade). Or: Private Jones is the stepbrother of Maria Blank (1st grade).

Thank you for helping us recognize and celebrate the veterans and servicemembers connected to our school community.
