Your Body Quits Before Your Spirit Does

As a chaplain, I tell soldiers this: your body will quit long before your spirit does. Feed the spirit, trust your training, and put one foot in front of the other.

APFT Coming Back? Somewhere, a First Sergeant Just Grabbed His Stopwatch 😂,

So the rumor is the APFT might be coming back.

Somewhere, an old first sergeant just smiled, pulled out a stopwatch, and said, ‘I’ve been waiting for this.’

And somebody else suddenly remembered a grader saying, ‘Forty-one. Forty-one. Still forty-one.’

But before everybody starts practicing sit-ups and digging out old scorecards, we need to see what the Army actually announces.

Does ‘coming back’ mean the original APFT? Different events? Faster run times? We don’t have that confirmed.

For now, the rumor mill is getting plenty of exercise. Make sure you are, too.”
