South Gibson School Resource Officers

We hope you are enjoying your fall break!

Your SROs have been busy supporting all of our Titan sectional events and serving our community. In addition to these responsibilities, we have also been completing important training to stay prepared and continue providing the highest level of service to our school and community.

Over fall break, our SROs participated in fi****ms training with Instructor Ryan Ziliak. Law enforcement officers are required to complete ongoing training each year, and our SROs take that responsibility seriously. Their training this break covered their primary duty weapons, backup weapons, patrol ri**es, and sh****ns.

While we hope these tools are never needed, it is essential that our SROs remain properly equipped, proficient, and prepared to serve and protect our Titan nation.

We look forward to welcoming our students back tomorrow. Until then, get outside and enjoy this beautiful fall weather!

Good Morning. This is Deputy Schleter. We had our walk to school event today.

Hundreds of Students and Staff from Fort Branch Community School participated in the annual Walk to School Day. The Ft. Branch Police Chief, Darryl Parker, along with the Gibson County Sheriff's Office - Princeton, Indiana and South Gibson SRO’s assisted with traffic control to keep the kids safe. The kids were led by Fort Branch-Union Township Fire Territory. The Sheriff’s Safety Patrol covered all the intersections as well. Thanks to all the volunteers and Fort Branch Community School PTSA for supporting this event. The kids had a great time.
