This Friday Karaoke Night at the VFW, special (optional) Bon Jovi challenge edition!

"Wanted, Dead or Alive," we’re "livin’ on a prayer" this Friday as we celebrate music with our special VFW Department of Maine guests! You can still sing whatever you desire, but join us for a voluntary tribute night where the Commander/DJ has a few special surprises for singers who channel their inner rock star. Whether you’re "Tommy or Gina," it’s your time to shine — grab the mic, belt out your favorite hits, and show that the VFW crowd still knows how to "keep the faith"!

Please consider joining us this coming Saturday, 10/17, as we support this member of our community! We hope to see you there, and we hope to raise funds for Mychaela!

Join us next Saturday to raise money for this sweet girl. It’ll be a good time, and you can help make a difference. 🎶❤️

Good Evening, this is Josh Doroen, the commander of VFW Post 6187. While we always try to keep this page positive, I need to make a service announcement. I have been informed through multiple encounters with various people of late, that a certain group of people believe they are either not welcome at our post, or uninvited. This information is factually inaccurate. We are a VFW and at public events, our doors are always open to everyone (21 and older unless accompanied by a parent or guardian, there is alcohol involved and State laws to adhere to). If anyone tells you otherwise, I would respectfully request you direct them to me. Please contact me directly with questions or concerns. Like our post, my door is always open. Thank you.
