📢Heads up!📢

Fort Hood will conduct preventive maintenance on a central energy plant starting Nov. 2 through Nov. 15. Multiple buildings located in the block between Support Avenue, Convoy Drive, Tank Destroyer Boulevard and 72nd Street will be without AC. This maintenance is necessary to ensure the system is ready for summer 2027 AC demands.

Weather outlook for Fort Hood for that period is favorable, with high temperatures in the mid to low 70s each day.

👻🎃Creep it real — stay safe this Halloween!

Halloween fun is even better when everyone makes it home safely!

Whether you're trick-or-treating or handing out candy, keep these safety tips in mind:

🚸Use sidewalks and cross and designated crosswalks.
🔦Carry a flashlight or wear reflective gear so drivers can see you.
🚗Slow down and watch out for children in residential areas.
🍬Inspect treats before eating them.
👪 Stay with your group and ensure children have adult supervision.

A little extra caution can keep Halloween festive, full of treats and most of all — safe! 🦇

From classic, vintage and muscle rides to smoky barbecue, campfire cobbler and Dutch oven biscuits, the event did more than satisfy the military community's appetite — it showed how much service members and their families are appreciated.
