Eyes up. Drones forward.

U.S. service members put their tactical drone skills to the test during the Military International Drone Racing Tournament and British Army Tactical Drone Competition at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst, England.

Representing Team USA, Soldiers from 2d Cavalry Regiment helped secure third- and fourth-place finishes in the tactical competition, navigating complex terrain and completing challenges that tested precision flying, first-person-view operations, payload delivery and team coordination.

Competitions like this sharpen unmanned aircraft capabilities, strengthen interoperability with allies and partners, and allow formations to exchange techniques that can translate directly to the modern battlefield.
