Some of the best conversations don’t happen over coffee.
They happen while serving meals. While sorting donations. While showing up for someone who needs it.
That’s why we’re inviting you to bring a friend (over the age of 16) with you to volunteer shifts.
Because service hits differently when you experience it together.
Come join us to help for our neighbors in need! We're grateful for volunteers who help us every day with our meal services. Check out opportunities to volunteer individually or as a group of up to four. To learn more email Isabella at [email protected] or call 954-779-3990 EXT 2203

Please join us in congratulating our CEO, Tom Ruthardt, on graduating from Leadership Broward Class 44.

Leadership is about more than titles, it's about listening, learning, and bringing people together to strengthen our community. Throughout the program, Tom embraced that spirit while working alongside an inspiring group of leaders committed to Broward's future.

His team's community impact project earned first-place honors from the judges, and his classmates recognized what many of us already know by awarding him the class superlative, "Most Likely to Be a Future Fun Lunch Honoree."

We are proud of Tom's continued commitment to leadership, service, and building meaningful connections that strengthen our community. Congratulations on this well-deserved achievement!

Our Behavioral Health and Outreach teams were proud to attend the 11th Annual South Florida Behavioral Health Conference, a gathering focused on advancing prevention strategies and innovative approaches in behavioral health. Conference sessions explored important topics including trauma-informed care, su***de prevention, workforce development, integrated care models, and community-based solutions.
We are also excited to share that Broward Partnership has been awarded a Certificate of Completion for the Trauma-Responsive Learning Initiative. This intensive 18-month implementation process helped strengthen our workplace culture, policies and procedures, and service delivery practices through a trauma-responsive lens.
This achievement reflects our ongoing commitment to creating a supportive environment for both our staff and the individuals we serve while continuing to provide compassionate, person-centered care.

We’ve had an incredible few weeks filled with amazing volunteers and partners, and we want to take a moment to recognize just a few of them.

A special thank you to Cami and Kayla for volunteering their time to serve lunches at our center. They generously chose to spend part of their summer break from studying giving back to the community, and we are so grateful for their support.

We also want to thank the A.D.A.M Men Mentoring Program for coming in to mentor the dads at our centers. Your presence and guidance make a meaningful impact.
A big thank you to Comerica Bank for hosting financial literacy workshops and helping our clients build confidence and skills for their financial futures.
Finally, we are so grateful to our longtime partners at Oceana Community Health for bringing their mobile clinic to support our clinic program and expand access to health and wellness services for those we serve.

It’s truly inspiring to see so many partners come together over the past couple of weeks to help our clients thrive both mentally and physically.

A nourishing meal can be the first step toward hope, healing, and stability.

Because of the extraordinary generosity of Publix Super Markets Charities, individuals and families experiencing homelessness across Broward County are met each day with nourishment, dignity, and care. Their support helps Broward Partnership provide three nutritious meals a day, 365 days a year, along with food baskets for residents in our supportive housing programs.

We are deeply grateful for this meaningful investment in our mission and in the lives of the people we serve. Access to healthy meals creates the foundation for healing, stability, and new beginnings and thanks to Publix Super Markets Charities, so many individuals each year are given that opportunity.

We are grateful for Community Foundation of Broward for including Broward Partnership in its Board Leadership Roundtable. Thank you for investing in nonprofit leaders and the organizations they serve!
A special thank you to our Board Chair, Jerry Gutierrez, whose passion, leadership, and unwavering commitment to our mission make a lasting impact on Broward Partnership and the community we serve.

The Broward Center for Nonprofit Excellence recently hosted the second session of our Board Leadership Roundtable, a year-long leadership cohort bringing together Board Chairs and Vice Chairs from some of Broward County's leading nonprofit organizations.

Facilitated by Jim Bush, Principal at Winkler Group, this unique peer-learning experience creates a space for board leaders to exchange ideas, discuss challenges, and strengthen the governance practices that help their organizations thrive.

We're grateful for the engagement and leadership of representatives from:

• Arc Broward
• Broward Partnership for the Homeless, Inc.
• Broward Housing Solutions
• Boys & Girls Clubs of Broward County
• Children's Harbor, Inc.
• Flamingo Gardens
• Gilda's Club South Florida

Thank you to the students, parents, staff, and student council at Cooper City Elementary School for organizing a pie fundraiser to support our mission at Broward Partnership.
These compassionate students voted on a cause they believed would make the biggest impact and chose to support individuals experiencing homelessness. Through their hard work, they raised hundreds of dollars to help our mission of reducing homelessness through advocacy, housing, and comprehensive services.
We were especially touched that they presented us with the donation check on the day of their fifth grade graduation. It was an honor to be part of such a meaningful milestone in their lives.
Thank you for your kindness, leadership, and heart for the community.
