I ran a campaign last year that inspired many, but there is so much more work we have to do. I want to hear from you! More details soon.

According to 2017-2018 data, homeless youth in Broward County accounted for 7.5% of all homeless youth in the United States. With new {yet to be verified} data estimates for 2018-2019, Broward youth will account for nearly 13% of the national youth homelessness estimates. The amount of students and youth who are homeless in Broward County since I launched my school board campaign in 2017 has increased by over a thousand youth. This data was provide to me at the BCPS Human Relations Committee meeting of March 27th, 2019.
