HandsOn South Florida was proud to partner with for an inspiring day of service as 20 dedicated volunteers came together to create more than 55 Birthday in a Box kits for children facing medical challenges 🎉🎁
Each box was thoughtfully decorated, filled with fun birthday surprises, and designed to bring joy, celebration, and special moments to children and families who need it most. Through creativity, teamwork, and compassion, these volunteers helped make birthdays brighter for dozens of deserving children!

Celebrating a remarkable honor for HandsOn South Florida! 🎉
We are proud to share that HandsOn South Florida, alongside Rock Island Elementary School, was recognized as the 2026 School-Based Partner of the Year at the Elementary School Level by Broward County Public Schools during the Community Involvement Awards.
A special congratulations to our HandsOn At Work Manager, Dwayne Brown, for accepting this award and for his outstanding leadership in transforming campus spaces and creating hands-on learning environments through the power of volunteerism.
Special thanks to Principal Priester and the incredible staff at Rock Island Elementary for their partnership, dedication, and shared commitment to student success.
As an added honor, Dwayne also received a Certificate of Special Congressional Recognition from Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz for outstanding and invaluable service to the community.

Join Mobile School Pantry (MSP) this Thursday at West Hollywood Elementary and help provide nutritious food to children and families in our community. Volunteers will assist with unloading trucks, setting up the pantry, restocking produce, guiding families as they shop, and ensuring a smooth cleanup.

They’re usually focused on logistics real estate, but today showed up in a big way at North Twin Lakes Elementary in Miami, Fl!
31 volunteers rolled up their sleeves to paint murals, build benches, refresh the outdoor space and create book bundles for students. A powerful day of service creating a brighter, more welcoming environment for this school community.

HandsOn Learning youth volunteers showed up and showed out this past Saturday for a beach cleanup in honor of Earth Day and Global Volunteer Week! 🌎
With 199 volunteers at Hugh Taylor Birch State Park, we came together to care for our planet—removing debris, protecting wildlife, and making our beaches shine a little brighter.

Another successful Food Distribution with the City of Oakland Park and Farmshare where we packed and delivered to 249 meal kits to local residents. With the support of 43 volunteers, 13 drivers, and City of Oakland Park Fire Rescue, we were able to ensure families across the community received the food they needed!
