Today is the first day of hurricane season. π While forecasters are suggesting "below-average" Atlantic hurricane season, we want to remind you that it only takes one. Now is the time to prepare yourselves and your families. Grab your supplies while lines aren't long, check your insurance policies and determine your evacuation plans. Broward.org/Hurricane

Hours of Operation π 10AM to 4:30PM weekdays; 10AM to 5PM on weekends/holidays.

The start of hurricane season is a mere days away, and the County wants to help you and the family get prepared. The first step β involve the entire family, including the kids!

Even though summer hasn't officially started, temperatures and humidity are getting up there in South Florida. Today is National Heat Awareness Day to remind YOU of the dangers of extreme heat, dehydration, and heatstroke.π‘οΈ
Heat Safety Tips:
-Stay Hydrated
-Limit Sun Exposure
-Avoid heavy outdoor activity during peak sun hours (usually 10AM to 4PM)
-Never Leave kids or pets in cars
