🎃 With Halloween coming soon, FLITE Center is readying for its Annual Fright Night Thursday, October 29, from 4:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at FLITE Center HQ in Fort Lauderdale! 👻 We’re creating a spooky evening for youth in the foster care system featuring a haunted house, trunk or treat, music, games, food and Halloween treats! 🍬 Be part of the fun by volunteering to donate candy, assist with activities, serve food or decorate a trunk. 🕸️ Contact Tricia Cepeda at 954-625-5401 or [email protected] to RSVP and get involved in helping create a memorable Fright Night for the youth we serve! 🧟

FLITE Center welcomed new Junior League of Greater Fort Lauderdale members for a tour and an inside look at how we support youth in our community! ❤️ During their visit, they completed two impactful Done In A Day (DIAD) projects: reorganizing our onsite clothing closet, which is utilized daily by those we serve; and creating 12 housing bins filled with essential items for vulnerable youth moving into their first homes. 🏠 They also donated 50 duffel bags and bookbags through their Duffles of Dignity fundraiser! 🎒 We’re incredibly grateful for the Junior League of Fort Lauderdale, founders of FLITE Center! 🙌

FLITE Center received a generous donation of 10 brand-new, queen-sized mattresses from Sweet Dream Makers in Boca Raton! 🛏️ We are grateful for this much-needed gift and look forward to helping youth furnish their first apartments. 🌟 These mattresses will help create a more comfortable home for the young people who are ready to take the next step forward toward independence. ❤️ Please consider making your own donation at FLITECenter.org 🙌
