HAITI POWER

About 90% of families in Haiti do not have access to electricity. The main source of energy is via kerosene lamps or burning woods.

The goal of this community is to raise awareness to the lack of electric power in Haiti and find a way to provide basic solar energy to school children and their families in rural areas. Having access to sufficient light opens up opportunity for learning, working and ultimately better living condition for the people.
