💔 "HE WORKED UNTIL THE VERY END." 💔
IN MEMORY OF K-9 QUILL
MPD K-9 UNIT
It is with immense sadness that we report the passing this evening of MPD K-9 Quill after an illness.
Quill courageously worked until very near the end. He passed with dignity — surrounded by his handler, Officer Max Stefanatos, his fellow K-9 handlers with MPD and other agencies, and the wonderful staff at Comfort Veterinary Hospital.
They were all there. No hero should face the end alone.
Quill was a loyal, fearless partner. The kind of dog who gave everything he had, every single shift, right up until the very end.
He will be missed badly.
Please join the MPD family in offering condolences to Officer Max Stefanatos, and to Quill's and Max's family, as they mourn this K-9 hero's passing.
Rest easy, Quill. 🐾
