THANK YOU FOR A GREAT FIRE PREVENTION FAMILY FUN DAY!

Despite the rain, we had a wonderful turnout of approximately 200 participants at yesterday's Fire Prevention Family Fun Day!

Families enjoyed an afternoon of fire safety education, hands-on activities, and opportunities to meet some of the people who help keep our community safe.

A special thank you to the City of Fort Meade Fire Department, Polk County Fire Rescue, American Red Cross, Polk County Sheriff's Office, Friends of the Fort Meade Public Library, and our Library staff for sharing their time, resources, and expertise to make this event possible.

And, of course, thank you to all the families who joined us! We loved seeing the children learning, exploring, and having fun.

We appreciate everyone who participated and look forward to welcoming you to more programs and events at the Fort Meade Public Library!

We’d love to see you there!

Weather permitting for the walk but come anyway for discussion!
