The team from US Anesthesia Partners - USAP gave their time and then went a step further! 💚 During their volunteer shift at Harry Chapin Food Bank, the group packed 1,770 bags of food totaling 6,161 pounds. They also made a generous donation of more than $1,000 to support our mission.

Thank you to the US Anesthesia team for your hard work and generosity. Your support helps us provide nutritious food to neighbors across our region!

For Mary Brown, access to food means a little less stress and more meals for the family she helps care for. The food she receives from Harry Chapin Food Bank, especially protein like chicken, helps stretch the household budget and feed the people she loves.

“Taking care of a family can be stressful,” Mary said. “Food feeds the soul.”

On Hunger Action Day, Mary’s story shows why taking action against hunger matters. 🧡 https://harrychapinfoodbank.org/take-action/give-money/other-ways-to-give/

Hunger Action Month is coming to a close, but there is still time to make twice the impact for neighbors facing hunger across Southwest Florida. Through Sept. 30, Suncoast Credit Union will match donations to Harry Chapin Food Bank dollar for dollar, up to $25,000. Your gift today can provide twice the support for neighbors who need it.

Thank you to Take Two Coffee and United Way of Lee, Hendry, and Glades, for welcoming the Harry Chapin Food Bank team this morning. During Hunger Action Month, we enjoyed meeting customers, sharing our mission and talking about ways to take action against hunger.
