🚁 National Recognition for LeeFlight! 🏆

We are proud to announce that LeeFlight has been recognized by Air Methods as the Southeast Region’s Outreach Base of the Quarter for July–September 2026!

Over the past three months, LeeFlight participated in 31 outreach events across Southwest Florida, including landing zone safety, pediatric and advanced airway training, helicopter orientations, base visits, and regional educational meetings.

This recognition reflects not only the dedication of our LeeFlight team but also the tremendous support of our community partners who continue to embrace education, communication, and collaboration.

👏 A special thank you to our partners:

🚒 Public Safety: North Fort Myers, Alva, Tice, Fort Myers Shores, Bayshore, and Lehigh Acres Fire Departments, along with Lee County EMS and Hendry County EMS.

🎓 Education: Braxton College and Southwest Florida Public Service Academy.

🏥 Healthcare: HCA Florida Lehigh Hospital, Cape Coral Hospital, and Golisano Children’s Hospital.

Outreach is about more than education. It’s about building relationships, strengthening partnerships, and ultimately improving patient care and outcomes.

While LeeFlight received this recognition, we share this achievement with every partner who helped make it possible.

Thank you to our incredible crew and community partners for your continued commitment to working together for the people of Southwest Florida! 🚁💙🧡

🚁 Faces of LeeFlight – Meet Dylan Pantoja! 🚁

This week, the spotlight is on Dylan Pantoja, Flight Paramedic!

Dylan is the newest member of our LeeFlight family and has just celebrated his one-year anniversary with the team!

While he may be our newest crew member, he certainly isn’t new to the field. Dylan brings a wealth of knowledge, experience, and skills to LeeFlight, along with a great attitude and a strong commitment to the people we serve.

In just one year, Dylan has become an important part of our team, and it’s hard to imagine LeeFlight without him!

Happy one-year anniversary, Dylan! We’re glad to have you as part of the LeeFlight family, and we look forward to many more years together! 🚁💙🧡

The view from LeeFlight’s home base came with a little extra color Sunday—a double rainbow! 🚁🌈🌈 Always something to appreciate in our Southwest Florida skies!

📸 Captured by our off-going pilot, Dwaine Parker. Thanks for sharing the view, Dwaine!

Fun fact: Sunlight reflects once inside raindrops for the main rainbow and twice for the second, making it fainter with reversed colors. The sky between them looks darker because less reflected light reaches your eyes.

Two ends of the county, two great community events! 🚁

LeeFlight kicked off the weekend with a busy Saturday morning at Sanibel’s Touch-a-Truck event, followed by Lehigh Acres Fire Department’s Fire Prevention Day. We had a great time connecting with Lee County families and sharing a little of what we do!

A big thank-you to Melissa, Travis, and Dwaine for braving the heat and going the extra mile. Your time and enthusiasm helped bring smiles, spark curiosity, and give the residents of Lee county a closer look at the people who help care for our community.

Thank you to both communities for including LeeFlight! 💙

What an incredible three days of training with HCA Florida Lehigh Hospital and Lehigh Acres Fire Department! 🚁

Hosted by HCA Florida Lehigh Hospital, LeeFlight’s Landing Zone and Air Medical Operations classes brought local teams together for six sessions of education, food and snacks, and a close-up look at our EC-135 and its crew.

A huge thank-you to HCA Florida Lehigh Hospital for bringing everyone together to one place, the HCA Florida Lehigh Hospital emergency room staff and management, and to Lehigh Acres Fire Department for your enthusiasm, participation, and just for being good people! We loved spending time with you all!

From landing zone lessons to a look inside the aircraft—it was a memorable morning for future EMTs! 🚁

LeeFlight kicked off an exciting week of outreach with the EMT class at Southwest Florida Public Service Academy. After learning about landing zone procedures, students watched our EC-135 arrive and then stepped aboard to experience air medical care up close.

Thank you for inviting us! Meeting future EMTs, sharing our mission, and inspiring the next generation of lifesavers is always a privilege. We can’t wait to see you in the field.
