The HSU Educational Foundation was honored this week to welcome Ms. Cindy Wilsbach and Dr. Doniel Wolfe, the spouses of the Chief of Staff United States Air Force (CSAF) and Chief Master Sergeant of the Air Force (CMSAF) in support of AFSOC hosts Ms. Melissa Conley and Ms. Becky Freeman, the spouses of AFSOC Commander and AFSOC Command Chief. The visit included a tour of the Hsu Innovation Institute South, a hub for STEM and Innovation serving families and airman alike, as well as, a roundtable convening of key spouse representatives of Hurlburt Field and community partners in discussion on topics impacting military spouse and family readiness. Mrs. Wilsbach and Dr. Wolfe serve as Commissioners on the White House Military Spouse and Family Readiness. The diverse participation of thoughts and ideas shared provided an opportunity for the participants not only to consider measures for new national initiatives but also ways to explore common ground locally, gain from shared experience and to consider new opportunities for community collaboration. Thank you to the contributing spouses and community leaders who helped our team extend hospitality to these distinguished guests who work tirelessly to advocate for deserving military families. Congratulations to Congressman Vince Fong (CA-20) presented the ILF 2026 Public Service Leadership Award today by Dr. Paul Hsu, ILF Chairman, during the International Leadership Foundation business and leadership conference in Washington DC. He serves on the following Congressional Committees: Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure as well as the Committee on Science, Space and Technology.
