I am truly grateful for project.ME and Aisha Diss for giving JCAP the opportunity to attend events like this. This will allow us to make a positive, lasting impact in our community. These opportunities go beyond gaining knowledge; they allow us to learn effective, evidence-based approaches that better support the individuals and families we serve.
I am thankful for the partnerships, collaboration, and shared commitment to finding ways that work for our population. The knowledge and tools gained through these experiences are meant to be brought back to our teams, shared with our colleagues, and put into action to create meaningful, positive change.
When we invest in learning, strengthen our partnerships, and work together toward a common goal, we create opportunities for growth, hope, and lasting change. True progress happens when we take what we learn, turn it into action, and work together to make a difference in the lives of those we serve.

🦋 Metamorphosis — Growth, Change & Recovery 🦋

The monarch butterfly goes through an incredible transformation. It begins as a tiny caterpillar, taking in everything around it and growing through each stage of its journey. Then it enters the chrysalis, where an amazing transformation takes place. When it finally emerges, it is no longer the same creature—it has become a beautiful butterfly, ready to spread its wings and fly. 🦋

The journey of recovery can be much the same. Individuals go through their own stages of growth, learning, challenges, and transformation. Sometimes the changes happening within them may not be visible to others, but just like the butterfly, something incredible is happening beneath the surface.

Recovery isn't about becoming who you were before. It's about becoming someone stronger, wiser, and more prepared to spread your wings and embrace a new life. The transformation can be truly amazing. ❤️

🎓 16 WEEKS OF WORK. ONE BIG MILESTONE.

Yesterday, we had the privilege of celebrating the graduation of JCAP (Jail Chemical Addiction Program) Class #11.

For 16 weeks, these graduates showed up, put in the work, faced challenges, and committed themselves to growth and change. Yesterday, they got to celebrate just how far they’ve come.

Graduation doesn’t mean the work is over...it means they’re leaving with new tools, a new perspective, and a new opportunity to keep moving forward.

Our JCAP #11 participants have been hard at work creating warm, handmade hats that will be donated to members of our community in need. Every stitch represents kindness, compassion, and a commitment to giving back.

We're proud to see our participants using their talents to make a positive difference and help keep others warm. Thank you to everyone involved in this meaningful project!

This Father's Day, we're thinking of all the dads on their journey through recovery...the ones working every day to be present, to rebuild trust, and to show up for their kids. Addiction can steal time you can't get back, but it doesn't have to define what comes next. Whether you're rebuilding trust and showing up every day, or just now finding the courage to take that first step: your effort matters, and it's never too late to be the dad your kids need. Happy Father's Day.
