This Domestic Violence Awareness Month, you can support survivors and families in our community while enjoying a meal with the people you love! 🤠🍽️

Join us THIS THURSDAY, October 22, from 3–10 PM at Texas Roadhouse (710 W. Washington Center Road in Fort Wayne) for our dine-to-donate fundraiser!

Texas Roadhouse will donate 10% of food purchases to us when you show your server this fundraiser flyer. You can bring a printed copy or pull up this post on your phone, and carry-out counts, too! Just remember to show the flyer when you pick up.

💜 Grab a bite, bring a friend, and give back! Every donation supports our work with survivors and their families. Thank you.

October 15th is Wear Purple Thursday! 💜 Wear a little purple to help raise awareness about domestic violence and remind survivors that they’re not alone.

We’re also kicking off our Purple Pumpkin Initiative, featuring beautiful pumpkins decorated by survivors in our support groups! Over the coming weeks, you’ll spot them popping up at local businesses, helping spread awareness and get information about our services into the community. Sometimes, the smallest things reach people in ways we never get to see. A little awareness today might help someone find support when they need it most.

There’s still time for your business or workplace to join in by hosting a purple pumpkin, with the option to include a donation jar and resources! Send us a message if you’d like to get involved. 😊

We’re deeply grateful for the restorative sound healing session our staff experienced last Friday with Geneva Burgess of The Pillar Yoga and Wellness, made possible through funding from School Care Team. 💜

Staff wellness and connection are an important part of this work, and we’re thankful to be in community with practitioners who help create space for both.
