Objective: To provide confidential, overall support for the mission readiness of Navy Reservists of the Fort Worth NOSC The ombudsman works for the CO.
Ombudsmen are volunteers appointed by the commanding officer (CO) to serve as an information link between command leadership and command families. Ombudsmen are trained to disseminate information — official Department of the Navy (DoN) and command information, command-climate issues and local community opportunities. They also provide resource referrals, if needed and are instrumental in resolving

The Defense Department Spouse Education and Career Opportunities program has made it easier for spouses to
reach their career goals with free access to more than 5,000 high-quality courses through Udemy. Udemy provides
more than 35,000 hours of content to help you stay competitive in today’s ever-changing workforce.

3. Military Spouse Career Accelerator Program
Military spouses of currently serving members of the U.S. Army, Marine Corps, Navy, Air Force and Space Force, to
include active, reserve and National Guard components, are invited to apply to the new Military Spouse Career
Accelerator Pilot, a multi-year program that provides spouses with paid 12-week fellowships at employers across
various industries and locations.

4. Military Spouse Employment Partnership Job Search Navigator Service
We are excited to announce the new MSEP Job Search Navigator service! This value-added service is offered to
military spouses once they have completed a series of designated career support services with a SECO career coach.
The MSEP Job Search Navigator will then identify potential matches between the spouse and MSEP employers
based on the spouse's geographic location, education, experience and career goals and share a list of customized job
leads to assist them in their search for employment.

Military spouses are encouraged to connect with MSEP on LinkedIn to view events and join the MilSpouse Career
Network group to network with other spouses and MSEP partners. This group allows spouses to ask questions,
solve problems, map out plans, go after goals and ultimately, support people who support you.
The myFICO program provides free access to FICO Scores, credit reports, and credit analysis tools for active-duty service members and their spouses. The credit reports are available from each of the credit reporting agencies: Equifax, TransUnion, and Experian. This service can help improve military family's financial well-being.
To access your free credit report and FICO score, active-duty members and spouses can contact their installation Fleet and Family Support Center (FFSC) Personal Financial Manager (PFM).
