Eighty-four years ago, just before 8 am, a surprise attack on a United States naval base at Pearl Harbor began, killing more than 2,400 Americans.

The impact on the survivors of the attack and the loved ones of the lost was immeasurable. Each person who witnessed the event would never forget that terrible morning. The long-lasting effects of December 7, 1941, can still be felt today.

Every day Veterans, survivors, family members, and visitors from around the world come to this sacred place to pay their respects. Visitors leave their lei, prayers, and tears with the fallen, and take with them the memory of the events that day. Our hope is for those who visit either in person or virtually take time to reflect on the sacrifices made by the enlisted and civilians who lost their lives December 7, 1941, and forge pathways to peace.

During our recent Battle Assembly the 7th/158th Longhorns provided several of our soldiers with morale flights. Morale flights are used to teach soldiers that are outside of flight companies what the pilots and crews do. For soldiers in the 90th, these flights give a better understanding and experience of the "aviation" in Aviation Support Battalion. We would like to thank the Longhorns for this training and we look forward to our continued partnership.
