All Tarrant County facilities will be closed Friday, January 10 due to inclement weather and will resume normal business hours Monday, January 13.

Due to hazardous road travel and temperatures, the office will be closed Tuesday January 16, 2024. Staff will work remote answering phones and electronic filings. You may call the office starting at 8:00 am Tuesday morning for assistance.

Tarrant County has declared an ice day and all county offices will be closed Wednesday, February 1, 2023. We encourage you to use our online service to file a case or pay a citation at www.tarrantcounty.com.

NOTICE OF OFFICE CLOSURE:

Please be advised that all Tarrant County Clerk Offices will be closed on Monday, June 20the in observance of the Juneteenth Holiday.

Regular business hours resume on Tuesday, June 21st.

To ensure safety of our staff, the office will close at 2:00 pm on February 23, 2022. We will also be closed for in-person on Thursday, February 24, 2022. Staff will be working remote and can assist you via phones and emails.

The Tax Assessor office located at the Southwest sub-courthouse will have a delayed opening and will open at 10:00 am on July 14, 2021.
