Ovet Martinez’s journey has been nothing short of inspiring.

From a reserved freshman to a leader hosting school-wide forums and engaging directly with elected officials, he has found his voice and used it to create change on his campus.

We’re beyond proud to celebrate him as a recipient of the Princeton Prize in Race Relations. The future is bright.

One of our incredible SVEC alum, a 2021 Trinity HS grad, keeps every “I Voted” sticker he gets on his windshield. 🚗🗳️

He shows up to vote in every election, and he says this is why: “I vote in every election because I see the impact of government every single day, from the roads on my commute to the communities I call home and the news I consume.”

That’s what it’s about: showing up, every time. Your vote matters.

Understanding how elected officials shape our daily lives is the first step to recognizing the power of your vote!
