Still thinking about the beautiful scenery in Lake Tahoe!

05/25/2026

Today and every day, we pause to remember the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our nation. Their sacrifice secures the freedoms we enjoy, and we will never forget their courage or their families’ strength.

Lake Tahoe, you did not disappoint! Joanna and I snuck away to LT and it absolutely lived up to the hype—crystal-clear water, snow-dusted peaks, and pine-framed views in every direction. We walked the shoreline, watched the clouds roll over the mountains, and soaked up that cool alpine air together. Grateful for time to slow down, breathe deep, and trade city noise for waves and wind on the lake. (h/t Tim Isgitt and Justin Fritz for sharing your little piece of heaven with us). Report of bomb threat at Overton Park Elementary School. I just received this one minute ago from the Westside Fort Worth Police Department Commander: "I just got an update as your email was coming in. The schools have cleared their facilities and no devices have been found. I have been told they should be coming off of their hold status and going back to normal operations." Our Owls are safe.
