We hope everyone enjoyed Sunday’s snow! Roads are currently in good condition across the district, and we plan to start school ON TIME Monday morning.

We’ll have crews closely monitoring conditions throughout the night, and we’re staying in close contact with the National Weather Service and TxDOT to make sure everyone can get to school safely. If conditions happen to worsen, our goal is to make an announcement by 5 a.m.

Hello Poynter Family!
Due to the crazy start of this school year and all of the restrictions, our PTA is at risk of becoming inactive on October 15th. In order to retain our active status and continue to help our school, teachers and students we need 20 people to join the PTA. If you are interested please go to pta.org to register and pay the $7.00 dues.
Also our PTA currently has several board member positions available. If you are interested in becoming a board member, please leave a comment and we will get back to you as soon as possible.
