Recently, a former FWPD officer reached out to our Fort Worth Cops for Kids to tell us about his neighbor, Emma. Since the age of three, Emma has dreamed of becoming a police officer. The now 7-year-old Emma, recently began chemotherapy for treatment for lymphoblastic leukemia. Knowing she needed support, we arranged for a group of our female officers to surprise her.
Officers Oleksy, Castro, Espinoza, St. Clair, Bel Haddad and our Critical Incident Response Team (CIRT) K9 Echo visited Emma in her room, bringing along a police Build-A-Bear for her! Though initially shy, Emma lit up with a big smile when she saw K9 Echo, who rested her head on the hospital bed, comforting Emma and helping her open up.
Her parents expressed that they had not seen her smile like that in weeks, and that the moment left a lasting impact on the entire family.
Your Fort Worth Police Department family is standing behind you, future Officer Emma! Keep fighting hard!

The Fort Worth Police Department will continue to track down and hold child predators accountable in our city.
The Fort Worth Resident Agency and the Fort Worth Police Department partnered on Operation Wolf Pack, leading to the arrest of 15 subjects on state and federal charges related to Possession, Receipt, and Distribution of Child Po*******hy. During the Operation, about 150 electronic devices were seized and are suspected of containing child sexual abuse material (CSAM). Operation Wolf Pack also covered over 40 cyber tips from the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) related to internet child exploitation crimes.
Thank you to our partner law enforcement agencies on the Longhorn Violent Crime Task Force as well as Fort Worth Police Department's Internet Crimes Against Children Unit for helping us protect vulnerable children in the North Texas area.

Policing in Fort Worth starts with connection. Through our “Policing in FW" initiative, recruits step outside the classroom and into the neighborhoods they will one day serve, engaging in open conversations with community leaders and residents from all walks of life.
These guided visits create opportunities to learn about the lived experiences that shape our city and its culture. At the Fort Worth Police Department, it is a priority that our officers develop a genuine sense of understanding and respect within the diverse communities they serve.

Join us for a special Blue vs. White showdown as we rally behind one of our own. This benefit game is being held in support of Amber, the wife of Cpt. Davis, as she courageously fights cancer.
This game is about more than hockey; it’s about family, community and standing together during difficult times. We’re bringing the entire team together to show the Davis family they are not facing this battle alone.
