North Elementary STEAM Academy

2nd grade Dual Language has been working to build a “bumper boat” that had to float and hold weight without tipping over. We tested them this morning! Three of our kiddos built a boat that held 29 weights and our winner held 30 weights!

Students in first grade DL used sound to communicate emotion through art during science period. They had so much fun!

Our North Elementary students had an incredible day exploring, creating, and discovering at the **Region 11 Education Service Center STEAM Carnival**! 🎡🔬⚙️

Students rotated through a variety of hands-on stations that challenged them to think like scientists, engineers, artists, and mathematicians. From building and testing creative designs to experimenting with exciting technology, every activity encouraged curiosity, teamwork, and problem-solving.

Experiences like this help bring classroom learning to life and inspire our students to imagine the possibilities of the future. We are proud of the way our young innovators represented our school while asking questions, trying new ideas, and having a blast learning along the way! 🚀✨
