Mrs. Valencia is a senior citizen living on a limited fixed income and disability benefits. Despite her own financial challenges, she has stepped up to care for her young granddaughter while her daughter is currently incarcerated. Due to her limited resources, Mrs. Valencia was only able to afford one outfit for her granddaughter, who has been wearing the same clothes throughout the week while the outfit is washed daily.

The Community Food Bank was honored to bless Mrs. Valencia and her granddaughter with new children's clothing, shoes, a comforter, and laundry detergent to help meet their immediate needs and ensure her granddaughter is cared for with dignity and comfort during this difficult time.
