🌟 Tarrant County, today is the day: tickets to our biggest fundraiser are officially on sale. 🌟

There will be only one chance to honor the incredible 100th birthday of Texas' most treasured civil rights advocate. Join us on Saturday, September 12 to pay tribute to Dr. Opal Lee: the Grandmother of Juneteenth, the only Fort Worth native to persuade a sitting U.S. President declare a new national holiday, and an organizer who walked the walk as a TCDP Precinct Chair for over 30 years.

This centennial celebration will be held at the stunning Fort Worth Museum of Science & History and will be a black tie gala to remember. To pay tribute to Dr. Lee's years of community advocacy made famous by her annual Juneteenth Walk for Freedom, this formal evening will have a sneaker twist. Be sure to complete your look with your best walking shoes!

Finally, as a special treat, not only do we have early bird pricing for the next ten days, but we're opening up ticket sales to our social media followers before we send to our email list. This event is guaranteed to sell out, and you get first dibs.

Join The People’s Commissioners Court on July 23rd for their 10th People’s Court. They will recap July’s Commissioners Court meeting, discuss future strategies for 2026, and the work ahead.

Most importantly, there will be a space where working families, marginalized communities, and everyday residents of Tarrant County can be heard, valued, and respected, especially in a time when Tim O’Hare and others try to silence our voices.

Y'alls candidate invited a bunch of reporters to a press conference here in Fort Worth and then *ran away* when they proceeded to ask him questions. Like.. just 'cause you surround yourself with a bunch of bright white never-worn-before cowboy hats & good ol' boy Sheriffs, doesn't mean you'll get to dodge the most BASIC questions. C'mon now.
