Outstanding Police Work in Austin, Texas!

An Austin Police officer working an off-duty assignment downtown sprang into action following a nearby bank robbery, apprehending the suspect less than two minutes after police were alerted.

We are especially proud that our very own Mindy Montford is a co-founder of this exciting new organization. Mindy’s dedication to law enforcement, collaboration, and the pursuit of justice has made her a valued member of the RIOT family, and we are excited to see her help lead this important mission.

The National Cold Case Center is committed to bringing renewed attention, investigative expertise, resources, and partnerships to unresolved cases across the country. Behind every cold case is a victim, a family, and a community that deserves answers.

In 2015, the Robbery Investigators of Texas (RIOT) were honored to welcome Lee Ielpi as our keynote speaker. Please take a few minutes and watch Lee’s story. Lee’s son Jonathan was one of the 343 New York City Firemen who died on September 11, 2001, selflessly and heroically saving lives during rescue operations.
