Today, we stood alongside our brothers and sisters at the Dallas Police Department to honor Officer Sunny Ma Lov, who was killed in the line of duty 35 years ago.

Officer Lov escaped communism in Cambodia and came to the United States to build a better life. At age 37 he became a Dallas police officer, dedicating himself to protecting the community he was proud to call home. He was tragically killed while setting a flare line at a crash scene when a criminal fleeing another pursuit drove through the scene.

This morning, a ceremonial sign was placed along Stemmons Freeway at the site where he was killed, ensuring his sacrifice will never be forgotten.

Members of Assist the Officer Fort Worth stood alongside the Lov family and the Dallas law enforcement community as his legacy was remembered today.

Assist the Officer Fort Worth proudly congratulates our fellow board member, Captain Robin Krouse on 40 years of service with the Fort Worth Police Department!

Captain Krouse was recognized today at the City of Fort Worth Employee Milestone Luncheon, a well deserved honor for a career defined by leadership and dedication to the Fort Worth community.

We are grateful for his service and his continued commitment to our mission. Please join us in congratulating Captain Krouse on this remarkable achievement.

Today, Assist The Officer Fort Worth was honored to receive a $20,000 donation from ASIS International North Texas Chapter.

We are incredibly grateful for their continued partnership and unwavering support of law enforcement across the DFW Metroplex. This generous contribution directly helps us take care of the officers who protect our communities every single day.

Mark your calendars for the 61st annual Law Enforcement Appreciation Night on October 23, 2026, at the Ten10 Event Center in Arlington. It will be an incredible evening featuring dinner, open bar, live music, the largest gun raffle in DFW, and great networking with community and law enforcement leaders from Assist The Officer - Fort Worth & Assist the Officer Foundation Dallas.
