Serenity View Assisted Living and Memory Care

09/12/2026

Morning at Serenity View. The flags we put out yesterday are still in the ground, the sprinklers are running, and the new grass is coming in under them.

The day of remembrance matters. The morning after matters more. That is when you find out who you are, once the ceremony is over and there is still watering to do.

We hold that for our memory care residents too. The world changes. Memory changes. The person does not. We are still here, and so are they.

Weekly music therapy is always a favorite with residents. Thank you Chloe Cowdrey, certified music therapist, for leading our group and sharing your love of music and movement.

Congratulations on Another Milestone!

Congratulations to Dr. Ram Rao, Julie Gregory, and the whole team on the publication of a superb perspective on the KetoFLEX 12/3 diet and its remarkable impact on cognition. As we have all seen in multiple clinical trials and thousands of patients, avoiding the standard American diet and adopting a plant-rich, mildly ketogenic diet, high in fiber, polyphenols, prebiotics and probiotics, monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fats, clean protein, without ultraprocessed food or simple carbs or gut-damaging grains, is an important part of the optimal protocol to prevent and reverse cognitive decline. For anyone interested in an excellent review and perspective on why this nutritional approach works so well, please check it out here: https://www.mdpi.com/2072-6643/18/13/2206
