Rev Partnership For our students. For our schools. For our community. The ability to read on level by third grade is critical to lifelong learning.

Read Fort Worth is a collective impact effort mobilizing educators, funders, government, businesses, parents and community organizations to see that 100 percent of Fort Worth ISD third-graders read at a college-ready pace by 2025. Third grade is the time when children must move from learning to read to reading to learn to succeed in school. Read Fort Worth has extraordinary leadership in Mayor Betsy Price, Fort Worth ISD Superintendent Kent P. Scribner and Matt Rose, executive chairman of BNSF Railway, who leads the organization's Executive Council.

Today, Rev partnered with our friends from Fort Worth Education Partnership and US Prep to launch ROOTED, a Tarrant County Community of Practice (CoP), uniting higher education institutions, school systems, and community organizations to cultivate teachers from within the communities they will serve.

This work will build a regional teacher workforce pipeline that is deeply local and deeply lasting, ensuring every aspiring teacher has a clear, supported road to the classroom.

We’re grateful to ParentSquare for sponsoring today’s refreshments and to Tarleton State University- Fort Worth Campus for hosting us today!

🍎There’s a lot to celebrate now that the school year is in full swing!

Last month, the Texas Education Agency released its 2025–26 accountability results, showing meaningful gains across Tarrant County:

☑220 campuses improved their accountability score in 2025–26
☑51 campuses moved into the A/B category
☑F-rated campuses decreased from 26 to 19.

Behind every number is a student, teacher, campus leader, and community working toward a stronger future. As we celebrate these gains, we’re also looking ahead to what’s possible when we continue learning, sharing, and working together across our region.

We’re grateful to the Fort Worth Report for highlighting the important conversation happening across Tarrant County about what drives student success: great teachers.

At Rev, we believe investing in teacher quality, early literacy, and strong public schools creates measurable impact for students and communities alike. Thank you to the district leaders, educators, and partners who joined us last week as we shared how we move this work forward together.

🎓 Future Teachers in the Making!

Tarrant County is taking bold steps to grow the next generation of educators!

We’re proud to celebrate Mansfield ISD, one of 17 districts participating in the Tarrant County Future Educators (TCFE) initiative. High school CTE students earn college credit and gain hands-on teaching experience through internships, discovering what it truly means to be a teacher.

Let’s celebrate:
✅ Students who said, “I will teach.”
✅ Districts and higher-ed partners building strong teacher pipelines.
✅ Our community investing in every classroom’s future.
