📬 Mailing documents to the Tarrant Appraisal District?

Recent USPS processing changes mean mail dropped off at the post office may not always be postmarked on the same day it’s submitted. In some cases, postmarks may show a date several days later.

Because Tarrant Appraisal District relies on the USPS postmark to determine whether time-sensitive documents are filed on time—such as exemption applications, protest forms, renditions, and other filings—a delayed postmark could affect whether your submission is considered timely.

To help avoid issues:
✔ File electronically at www.tad.org
✔ Mail Early: Don’t wait until the deadline!
✔ Ask a postal clerk for a manual hand-stamp to guarantee today's date
